According to a report in Science and Technology Daily on August 18, 2013, German and Dutch archaeologists found four sites in two Neanderthal sites of Abrepeloni and Peshid-Lazare in southwestern France Bone fragments, of which only three centimeters long, the other is relatively complete. Known as “Polisher ”, the bone is made from buffed and polished deer ribs and can be used to machine skins to make the skins flexible, shiny and waterproof. These bone-made “polishers” have been around for 50,000 years and are by far the most ancient bone found in Europe and the earliest of the Neandertal bones to make standard tools
