随着新课标的颁布,小学英语基础教育课程在全国范围内逐步开设,小学英语教师呈现出“初出茅庐”的现状,本文以苏州工业园区部分学校为案例,通过问卷调查法、访谈法、文献法对所在学校的初任小学英语教师(以下称小英教师)的现状进行了分析,同时,对如何培养和提高初任小英教师教学能力,使教师能够精选教学方法、优化教学思路、提高教学技能、完善教学行为,提出了相应的对策。
