为了找出一条多快好省地生产轿车车身零件的办法,重庆设计院、中国科学院长春光机所和吉林省机械工业设计研究所遵照毛主席的教导,坚持科学研究“为无产阶级政治服务,为工农兵服务,与生产劳动相结合”的方针,和长春第一汽车制造厂轿车分厂组成“厂、院、所”三结合技术革新小分队。在上级党委的正确领导下,认真贯彻毛主席关于“我们必须打破常规,尽量采用先进技术”和“独立自主、自力更生”的方针,发扬社会主义大协作的优越性,紧密配合,协同作战,用不到半年的时间,在国庆二十七周年前夕,设计制造成功一台大型数控激光切割机。经过生产考验,证明这台设备运转正常,性能良好。具有使用方便,万能性好,切缝光洁,抗干扰性能强等优点。
