党的十五届六中全会通过的《关于加强和改进党的作风建设的决定》中提出,要坚持密切联系群众,坚定不移地维护和实现最广大人民的根本利益。江泽民同志在庆祝中国共产党成立80周年大会上发表的重要讲话,是新世纪党代表中国最广大人民根本利益提出的基本要求,充分体现了党对维护人民利益的高度重视,是新时期工会工作的根本指导思想,为工会工作指明了方向。一、把握“三个代表”的科学内涵,把为人民谋利益作为工会工作的根本出发点和落脚点。
