本文通过对现代性、全球化、西化和本土化等概念的辨析 ,认为中国传统文化与现代性、全球化等并不处于同一个层次 ,必须对“中”“西”进行清楚的划界。中西之间最大的区别 ,就在于西方传统文化发展出了现代性文化 ,而中国传统文化没有。只有进行这种区分 ,中国才能更好地确立现代性、参与全球化 ,中国传统文化也才能发挥更大的作用 Through the analysis of the concepts of modernity, globalization, westernization and localization, this paper argues that traditional Chinese culture is not at the same level as modernity and globalization. It must make a clear demarcation of “west” and “west”. The biggest difference between China and the West lies in the fact that Western traditional culture has developed a modern culture while Chinese traditional culture does not. Only by making such a distinction can China establish its modernity better and participate in globalization so that Chinese traditional culture can play a greater role
