为了使广大教师和教学研究人员了解新编义务教育小学数学教材的编写意图和特点,现将编写的指导思想、教材的特点和教师在使用新教材时该注意的问题做简要的介绍和说明。编写的指导思想编写义务教育小学数学教材的指导思想是:以“三个面向”为指针,以唯物辩证法为基本指导思想,以现代教学论和心理学为依据,正确处理需要与可能、数学学科特点与儿童认知特点、智育与德育、教与学、掌握知识与发展能力、共同要求与因材施教、提高教学质量与减轻课业负担等方面的关系;努力使教材符合我国义务教育的要求,能适应我国现阶段发展的需要,具有中国社会主义特色,并且在我国城乡广大地区都能适用。
