由中国社会科学院经济研究所、社会科学文献出版社、新华社《经济参考报》联合召开的“新经济”研讨会,于2000年12月21日在北京举行。 与会专家学者指出:江泽民总书记最近在亚太经合组织会议的讲话中,就什么是“新经济”,做了简明而深刻的概括。他说:“所谓‘新经济’,也就是人们比较普遍认为的主要以高新技术及其产业为基础和支撑的经济”。①与会专家学者认为,这一概括揭示了“新经济”的核心内涵,澄清了众说纷纭的模糊看法,为我们研究“新经济”提供了指南。
The “New Economy” Symposium jointly held by the Institute of Economic Research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Social Sciences Academic Press, and the Xinhua News Agency “Economic Information Daily” was held in Beijing on December 21, 2000. Experts and scholars attending the meeting pointed out: General Secretary Jiang Zemin made a concise and profound summary of what a “new economy” was at the recent APEC meeting. He said: “The so-called ’new economy’ is the economy that is generally believed to be based and supported mainly by high technology and its industries. ’ (1) Experts and scholars attending the seminar held that this summary revealed the core content of ”new economy“, clarified the vague opinions and provided guidance for studying ”new economy."
