党的十七大,根据各级党组织和广大党员的愿望,根据形势和任务的变化对党的工作和党的建设提出的新要求,对党章作了适当修改。从公布的党章修正案可以看到,这次修改工作既保持了党章的总体稳定,又体现了党的十六大以来我们党的实践创新、理论创新和制度创新的成果,实现了党章的与时俱进,使党章更加完备,更加科学,更加先进,必将在党的工作和党的建设中更好地发挥规范和指导作用。
At the 17th CPC National Congress, according to the wishes of Party organizations at all levels and the majority of Party members, they made new demands on the party’s work and party building in light of changes in the situation and tasks, and made appropriate changes to the party constitution.
