国际风景师联合会(IFLA)第28届大会于1989年5月30日至6月2日在菲律宾首都马尼拉召开。主题为“热带地区的现实——一个挑战”。为配合大会主题,菲律宾风景师协会(PALA)与IFLA还联合举办了风景园林专业学生设计竞赛,旨在探索一条改善热带发展中国家境况的专业道路。鉴于中国风景园林学会与IFLA的关系日趋密切,所以,了解IFLA的动态和各国风景园林学会的情况,有助于中国风景园林的发展、改革和走向
The 28th International Conference of Landscape Architects (IFLA) was held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, from May 30th to June 2nd, 1989. The theme is “Reality in the Tropics - A Challenge.” In line with the theme of the conference, the PALA and IFLA also jointly organized the Landscape Architecture Student Design Competition to explore a professional path to improve the situation in tropical developing countries. In view of the increasingly close relationship between the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture and IFLA, understanding the dynamics of IFLA and the situation of landscape societies in various countries will contribute to the development, reform, and development of landscape architecture in China.
