一九五九年,《戏剧报》连续发表了不少有关戏曲教育问题的文章,如《戏曲教育的根本任务》(社论,十二期),《富连成科班忆旧》(记者专访,十二期),《学生的任务在继承遗产》(十一期),《贺戏曲艺人收徒弟》(十四期)等,提出了一系列错娛的主张,影响极坏。其中以《戏曲教育的根本任务》的错误最突出,集中表现出编辑部在戏曲教育问题上的错误观点,而其他几篇文章实际上是社论主张的具体化。这些文章中的主要错误观点,归纳起来有以下几点:
In 1959, “Theatrical Journal” published many articles on drama education successively, such as “The Fundamental Task of Opera Education” (editorial, No.12), “Fu Liancheng Keban” (Interview with reporters, Twelfth Issue), “The Student’s Mission Is Inheriting the Legacy” (Issue 11), “He Opera Artist Apprentice” (Fourteen Issues) and so on, put forward a series of mistaken ideas, the impact is extremely bad. Among them, the mistake of “the fundamental task of drama education” is the most prominent, which shows the editorial department’s erroneous viewpoints on the issue of drama education, while the other articles are actually the embodiment of editorials.
