旋流转炉式炼铁炉(CCF)是由霍戈文、英钢联和厄尔巴的材料研究中心合作开发的熔融还原工艺。CCF把两个工艺步骤集中在一个反应器内,矿石预还原和熔化在旋流器内进行,最终还原在金属/渣熔池内进行。在CCF研究计划的第一阶段(1989~1992年),通过半工业试验设备的试验来证明CCF工艺的可行性。
The Swirl Converter Furnace (CCF) is a smelting reduction process developed in collaboration with the Materials Research Center of Hoogov, British Steel and Elba. The CCF combines two process steps in a single reactor. Pre-reduction and melting of the ore takes place in the cyclone and the final reduction takes place in the metal / slag bath. In the first phase of the CCF research program (1989-1992), the feasibility of the CCF process was demonstrated through experiments with semi-industrial test equipment.
