1905年的抵制美货运动是中国近代史研究中的一个重要课题,建国后各个时期都有学者研究论及。华裔学者黄贤强从上世纪90年代涉足该课题开始,广泛利用海外史料,以独特的研究视角全面分析了这场运动兴起的背景,运动中所运用的宣传手段及动员策略,海外华人特别是新加坡、马来亚华人在运动中所扮演的角色。黄著堪称近年来的一部集大成之作,作者蹊径独辟的研究思路也对于将老课题推向新阶段提供了借鉴。
The boycott of the American movement in 1905 was an important issue in the study of modern Chinese history. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, some scholars have studied and discussed it. Chinese scholar Huang Xianqiang started from 90 years in the last century involved in the subject, extensive use of overseas historical materials, with a unique perspective of the study a comprehensive analysis of the rise of the sport background, the campaign used in the means of propaganda and mobilization strategy, overseas Chinese, especially Singapore, Malayan Chinese play a role in the sport. Huang is called a masterpiece in recent years. The author’s unique research ideas also provide reference for pushing old topics to a new stage.
