In the field of natural science journals, the struggle between the theory of materialism and the transcendentalism of idealism has never ceased. Since the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, the “Lin Shui Kong Campaign” and the review of “Water Margin”, the style of the natural science journals has been greatly changed. The old traditional style of writing has been criticized and the revolutionary spirit has been carried forward. Many comrades, guided by Chairman Mao’s philosophical thinking, can use the materialist dialectics to sum up the achievements of scientific research.
