坚持“走出去”战略，我们的厂家要“走出去”，我们的企业要“走出去”，更重要的是，中国人要有敢于闯荡世界的心态。这种心态，不是关在屋子里就能养成的，必须首先让人们敢于到世界上去闯荡。久而久之，自然形成。 我们鼓励更多的青年人敢于大胆往外走，主要是从改造中国人的文化心态着眼的。 纵看中国历史：没有孙中山时期那样一批在国外闯过世界的人，会有中国的旧民主义革命吗？没有周恩来、邓小平一代人的闯世界，能有中国的新民主主义革命吗？没有江泽民、李鹏这样一群闯过前苏联的人，我们今天的改革开放会是什么样子呢？ 对于中国人、中国社会来说，一天不彻底根除农业社会造成的农民意识、准农民意识、亚农民意识，中国的发展一天不会彻底成功。 纠正农民意识的最重要的、最现实的措施之一，便是要有一批敢于闯世界的中国人。如果说过去的一百年需要如此，今后的一百年更需要如此。不如此，就难以建立起健康的民族文化──心理结构。 当然你能在国内做出贡献，且能自觉战胜农民意识的浸染，当然也可以不出去。在国内为国效力更好。
