主要成分为铁闪锌矿和砷黄铁矿的硫化锌精矿经过磁选,可以脱除所含的砷。在干燥的大气条件下,磁场强度分别为2000 Oe、5000 Oe和10000 Oe时,用一台等磁力线磁选机进行了阶段分选。砷化合物如砷黄铁矿富集于非磁性产品中,磁性产品中的砷含量随磁场强度的增大从0.12%降低到0.04%,占给入矿样量8.26%的部分在10000 Oe场强时作为非磁性产品回收,其砷含量可达到约0.96%,这意味着约63%的砷可以从矿石中脱除。因此,磁性产品中的锌品位及其质量百分比随着磁场强度的增大而分别提高到10000 Oe时的48.46%和66.90%,表明磁性产品中锌的回收率达到约96%。
