The rapid development of the Internet and the tremendous temptation of the network computer itself have enabled more and more young people to access the Internet. According to a survey conducted by a U.S. agency, in 1995, there were 9.5 million Internet users in the United States, of whom over 1 million were teens under 18 years old, accounting for 11% of the total. Data show that with the increasing number of networked computers, more than half of all teenagers aged 13 to 17 in the United States have had at least one online experience.
