连续辊底式热处理炉处理的钢板表面易产生压痕和划伤,严重影响钢板表面质量。作为权宜之计的承托钢板的金属垫板或钢板,使热耗高达0.60～0.70×10~6kcal/t。炉底辊损耗大,武钢、鞍钢这种炉子每年损耗的炉底辊费用将近80～100万元。双步进梁式厚板热处理炉不同于单步进梁式,没有固定梁,只有两组相互联锁而又各自独立的步进梁系统。该炉燃耗0.30～0.35×10~6kcal/t。是一种新型的厚板热处理炉。
