咸头岭沙丘遗址位于广东省深圳市宝安县大鹏镇咸头岭村,距深圳市62公里。遗址坐落在背倚泻湖平原的海湾第三级沙丘上,西南至东北长120、西北至东南长110米,现存面积13200平方米。四周略低于中部,海拔高度8米。东南侧有几条东西流向的淡水小溪。这里过去曾是船只的停泊之处。遗址北面紧靠高约500米的求水岭,东南较远处是连绵的龙头山,西南350米就是大鹏湾(图一)。1981年深圳市博物馆在考古普查中发现了这处遗址。1985年5月13日至6月21日,博物馆考古队在现存遗址东面进行第一次发掘,开探沟5条、探方12个,编号为T101~T117,发掘面积达450平方米。在发掘新石
Salt Head Dune site located in Bao’an County, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, Dapeng Town, Salt Village, 62 km away from Shenzhen City. The site is located on the third level sand dune on the back of the lagoon plains, with a length of 120 meters in the southwest to the northeast and 110 meters in the northwest to the southeast. The existing area is 13,200 square meters. Slightly below the middle of the four weeks, altitude 8 meters. There are several freshwater streams flowing to the southeast. It used to be a mooring place for boats. Close to the north of the site is about 500 meters high Qishui Ridge, southeast is the faucet more distant mountains, 350 meters southwest is Mirs Bay (Figure 1). In 1981, Shenzhen Museum discovered this site in the archeological survey. From May 13 to June 21, 1985, the museum’s archeological team conducted its first excavation to the east of the existing site.
