Introduction This paper considers the far-field radiation field of the time-domain aperture antenna as the output of a time-invariant linear system, so that the linear system theory can be used to analyze the characteristics of the time-domain aperture antenna. First, the transfer function of the system is found, so it can be proved that the system is stable, and the transient analysis has a reliable basis. The amplification of this system is also confirmed. It is used to characterize some characteristics of this type of antenna.
