1983年,湖北省农牧厅棉油处同我局在李场公社红花堰、舒滩、周黎三个大队进行了800亩棉花地膜覆盖栽培示范。尽管遭受了特大暴雨涝灾的袭击,地膜棉仍比露地棉增产,平均皮棉亩产110斤,比露地棉亩产67.8斤增产63.5％。 地膜棉增产优势的主要原因是有效地提高地温,土壤墒情较稳定,避免暴雨的直接冲击,土壤不板结,疏松通气好,从而为一播全苗,早苗早发,增结“三桃”,增产增收开辟新的途径。为了更好地发挥地膜棉的优势,争取早苗早发、早熟高产,现将我们在大面积示范中的一些技术问题概述如下。
