社区服务是改革中出现的新生事物。做好社区服务工作是社会发展进步的客观要求,是深化改革、加快经济发展的重要举措,是建立和完善社会保障制度与社会化服务体系的必然要求,也是加强社会主义精神文明建设的题中应有之义。近几年来,南京市玄武区主动适应城区改革和经济发展的要求,适应“小政府、大社会”的发展趋势,走出了一条以社区服务为突破口,加强社区建设,创建文明城区的发展之路。为此,光明日报专门召开了专家座谈会。这里,我们摘要编发部分同志的发言,以期能对各地社区服务工作有所裨益。
