鲇鱼(Silurus asotus)属鲇形目,鲇科,鲇属,为凶猛肉食性鱼类,幼鱼以浮游动物为食,成鱼以小鱼、虾等为食。其肉质细嫩,常被作为产妇的补品。随着名特优鱼类养殖的发展,对其苗种的需求量越来越大,而天然水域捕捞的鲇鱼苗无论质量还是数量都满足不了渔业生产的需求。池塘养殖的鲇鱼合成类固醇葡糖苷酸的种类和数量比野生鱼少得多,因而不能诱发生殖行为,必须进行人工繁殖。1994～2001年,我们连续多年进行鲇鱼人工繁殖,现将主要技术介绍如下,供参考。
