Ode to Joy was one of the hit TV series in 2016 with a double harvest on ratings and word-of-mouth. This article analyzes the authenticity of the play and discusses the reasons behind the success of the drama “Ode to Joy” in terms of its authenticity in terms of plot setting, characters and social issues reflected in the play.
