临海市杜桥镇连续发生两起因驾驶和乘坐二轮摩托车造成多人伤亡的重大交通事故,这两起事故都与头盔有关,这应引起摩托车驾驶员和乘客的重视。 1998年7月20日凌晨2时,二轮摩托车驾驶员朱某在杜桥车站载客人罗某、王某前往桃渚镇。途经连盘乡老岩下村时,因后轮爆胎翻车,二乘客头部着地受重伤,驾驶员朱某头部及身上也多处擦伤。据查,当时车上挂着二顶头盔,但他们一个人也没戴。
