新中国成立以后，全国总工会女职工部和各级地方工会女职工部一直致力于维护女职工的合法权益和特殊利益。为了加强女职工工作，全国总工会女职工委员会于1991年2月诞生。
After the founding of New China, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions ’Women Workers’ and Workers ’Union and the Local Trade Unions’ Women Workers ’and Staff-workers’ Offices at all levels have been devoted to safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of women workers and their special interests. In order to strengthen the work of female workers, the National Federation of Trade Unions female staff and workers’ committees was born in February 1991.
