On a sunny day in late 1943, a family holiday in Santa Monica, California, where a father took his Rolleiflex camera and Jennifer, a three-year-old daughter, took a walk. He photographed the little daughter, and when he pressed the shutter, the daughter casually asked: “Why can not I see the picture now?” The daughter’s incudes, inspiring the beloved father. His inventor’s head started to work - how can the syrup, negatives, photographic paper in the darkroom be hooked up with the camera in a short period of time to work together? He mobilized all the skills of his former work, including filters, tiny crystals, Thin film and optics, and even manufacturing and outsourcing, all come in handy.
