Moderator: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is the highest regulated legislative body in the telecommunications industry in the United States, including telecommunications and media. On July 31, 1997, Republican MichaelKowell was nominated by President Clinton as a member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and passed in the U.S. Parliament on October 28 of the same year. On January 22, 2001, U.S. President George Bush appointed him chairman of the FCC. Powell’s chair interviewed Kenneth McGee, a senior specialist at Gartner Consulting, in his Washington, DC office on June 15, 2004 to discuss policy issues related to broadband, telecommunications, media ownership, content publishing and digital television. Powell believes that the reason why broadband is important is that it will become a universal service, like the voice communications of the year, affecting public and government behavior and bringing a brand new environment for communications control. The vitality of a business and technology lies in whether the general public can benefit economically and in terms of use. He believes that the next band of the network will be building blocks, wired and wireless technologies and their interconnection fusion. He also made a blunt comment on the direction of U.S. long distance carriers, arguing that for any company with a narrow field of view to consider issues on a single platform such as cable, satellite, wireless or long distance, it will be difficult to maintain for a long time, and any organization that can organize And provide information or data - companies that develop news, information, entertainment or basic communications business.
