开展创建先进基层党组织、争当优秀共产党员活动,是新形势下加强党的先进性建设的有效载体和有力抓手。要把这一活动做好、做实、做出成效,我们需要在两个着力点上下工夫。弄清楚什么是“先进”与“优秀”开展创先争优,首先要知道先进是指什么,优秀又意味着什么。如果对先进与优秀的科学内涵不能有深刻的认知与把握,创先争优就无从谈起。那么什么是先进,什么又是优秀呢?
Carrying out the activities of building advanced grass-roots party organizations and striving for outstanding communists is an effective carrier and a strong starting point for strengthening the building of the party’s advanced nature under the new situation. To do a good job of this activity, to be realistic and effective, we need to work hard on two focal points. To find out what is “advanced” and “excellent” to create a good prerequisite, we must first know what is advanced, what it means to be good. If we can not have a profound understanding and grasp of advanced and excellent scientific connotations, we can not talk about creating superiority first. So what is advanced, what is excellent?
