近年来,我县把培选拔妇女干部工作当做干部队伍建设的大事来抓,努力转变陈旧观念,更新选人用人的一贯的思维和工作方式,使一大批德才兼备的优秀妇女干部脱颖而出,走上了县、乡各级党政领导岗位,充分发挥了“半边天”的作用,也使全县干部队伍建设与整体素质发生了明显变化。一、转变观念,深刻认识培养选拔妇女干部的重要性和紧迫性在建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大实践中,广大妇女干部不仅是物质文明建设的重要力量,而且在精神文明建设中发挥着特殊重要的作用。但是,由于受传统思想的影响,我县在培养、选拔妇女干部的工作还与新形势不相适应,致使女领导干部的人数和比例偏低,人才资源没有得到充分利用。为彻底改变这种现状,从1995年以来,我县首先从解决思想认识的问题入手,从组织工作的整体上去思考,努力做好妇女干部的培养、选拔工作,明确认识广大妇女参与党和国家以及社会和各项管理事务,进入各级领导班子担任领导职务,一方面反映了妇女自身的愿望,另一方面也是社会发展进步的客观需要,是我党推进社会主义民主政治建设的重要内容和实际步骤。其次,向社会宣传党和国家对培养妇女干部工作的一系列方针政策,宣传有突出贡献的优秀妇女人才,培养树立妇女干部的先进典型,让社会全面正确地认识和了解妇女,提高女干部的社会地位和知名度,努力消除女干部成长过程中的一些人为障碍,为妇女干部健康成长创造良好的环境。
