美国亚拉巴马州蒙哥马利Hodgson混凝土公司用水源热泵(Water-source heat pump)控制混凝土拌合水的温度,以冷却或加热混凝土。该法在冬天可以很经济地把水加热到60℃,在夏季能冷却到1.6℃。泵的主能源是不要成本的地下水,电只用作为辅助能源。用1台固态计算机可以自动地控制系统而无需人员操作。全年控制混凝土拌合水的温度通常需要两种立的方法,即在冬季用锅炉加热水,在夏季用冰或液氮冷却水。但是,水源热泵却只要以独立加热和冷却方法操作费用的一小部分就能加热和冷却大量的合水。
The Hodgson Concrete Water-source heat pump in Montgomery, Alabama controls the temperature of the concrete mixing water to cool or heat the concrete. This method can be used to heat the water to 60°C in winter and to 1.6°C in summer. The main energy source of the pump is groundwater at a costless price, and electricity is used only as an auxiliary energy source. With a solid-state computer, the system can be controlled automatically without human intervention. Controlling the temperature of concrete mixing water throughout the year usually requires two methods, namely heating water with boilers in winter and cooling water with ice or liquid nitrogen in summer. However, a water source heat pump can heat and cool a large amount of combined water as long as it is operated at a fraction of the operating cost of an independent heating and cooling process.
