The earthquakes in this area often occur at depths of 10 to 20 km. If the vertical stress and horizontal stress generated by the gravitational load of the upper and lower strata in the crust are regarded as the background stress, the horizontal stress in the crust caused by gravity is considered as Additional tectonic stress superimposed on background stress. It can be proved that in this case, the basic mechanical conditions that produce translational and fault-moving faults are present in the deep crust. The actual data also show that the seismic faults in this area are dominated by translational faults. Nowadays, researchers at home and abroad only discuss the gravitational mechanism of fault dumping fault. This paper presents new insights into the relationship between fault dislocation and gravitational force, which is beneficial for a correct understanding of the role of gravity in tectonics and seismicity.
