当今大学图书馆面临的形势是:一方面文化科学技术和经济建设蓬勃发展,文献资源和信息需求量日益增加;而另一方面经费不足,书价屡涨,特别是西文原版书刊面临年年减订的局面。这即是说,大学图书馆拥有的信息量逐年减少,这种现象必然对今后的经济建设起到长远不可逆转的不良作用。为此我们必须重视如下几个问题。
Today’s university library is faced with the situation: on the one hand the cultural science and technology and economic construction to flourish, the increasing demand for literature resources and information; the other hand, lack of funds, book prices repeatedly, especially the original books and periodicals facing the Western Reduce the situation. This means that the amount of information owned by university libraries has been declining year by year, which inevitably has an adverse and long-term irreversible effect on the future economic construction. To this end, we must pay attention to the following questions.
