With the promulgation and implementation of the new curriculum standards, the types and contents of the mid-level test questions have also changed accordingly. The propositions of mathematics tests throughout the country focus not only on the examination of students’ textbook knowledge, but also on the examination of students’ ability to use mathematics knowledge to solve practical problems. Over the years, the issue of graphic coverage has been the darling of mathematics competitions at all levels, and it is a roadblock for high scores in the mathematical competition. In the 2003 mid-term exam, the situation was broken. In the proposition of the 13 cities of Jiangsu Province alone, two cities in the examination questions covered the problem of graph coverage in the examination. This is an inquisitive question. It is difficult for students to see such questions in class, so it is difficult to solve problems. When faced with this type of new question, we read questions repeatedly and pondered calmly to establish a mathematical model for solving such problems. Will definitely “pull the cloud and see the blue sky.”
