伴随着改革开放的步伐,巢湖学院美术系悄然走过了二十多个春秋。多年来,“铁打的江山,不断的水”,几茬艺术教育人进进出出、来来往往,留下的和新进来的都能恪守“求真务实,向善唯美”的宗旨,着实取得了一些成绩。 回首二十多年来的探索之路,从起初的一个专业15名学生到目前的四个专业400多名学生;从过去两年制的专科升格为现在的四年制和三年制本专科并存;从过去传统的受徒式教学到现在的教学、科研、创作三位一体;从曾经的迷茫混沌到今天的坚定乐观,该系的教师不仅体验了拓荒的艰辛,而且也享受到了成功和进步的喜悦。如果说过去他们是在极其简陋的条件下,为基层中学培养当时急需的美术教育人才,那么如今他们则依靠自身良好的硬件设施和群较高素质的教师,努力培养着符合社会多方面需要的新型美术人才。
