An additional observational study from the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) provides additional evidence that aspirin can reduce the risk of death in postmenopausal women with heart disease or stroke. This study was published in Circulation Magazine: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes. A new perspective has also been proposed for the dosage of aspirin in female patients. It is recommended that low dose (81 mg) and high dose (325 mg)
