In order to clarify the genetic basis of resistance to powdery mildew in wheat cultivars Bogatka, genetic analysis and molecular markers were carried out using BC1 populations derived from susceptible parents Xue Za and Bogatka and their crossbreeds “Xue Za / Bogatka” F1 and early Xue Positioning. The results show that, Bogatka contains a dominant powdery mildew gene, tentatively named MlBogatka. Further BSA was used to detect the molecular marker of BC1 segregation population, and the molecular markers STSBCD135, Xgwm501 and Xwmc332 linked to MlBogatka gene were obtained and the genetic linkage map was constructed. According to the molecular mapping of these molecular markers, the gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 2B in wheat. Based on the results of the Pm6 gene-specific molecular marker and the mapping of this gene, it is speculated that this gene may be Pm6 or a powdery mildew resistance gene closely linked to the Pm6 locus. The results of this study provide the basis for the utilization of Bogatka in wheat resistant to powdery mildew.
