本文报道在1984年10月中旬,芬兰1名6岁的轻度脑膜炎患者的排泄物中分离出Ⅲ型脊髓灰质炎病毒。该病例的健康接触者和邻近赫尔辛基地区的其他健康人也发现了同型病毒,6份样品经检验均为非疫苗株。
This article reports the isolation of poliovirus type III from the excretion of a 6-year-old mild meningitis in Finland in mid-October 1984. The same type of virus was also found in healthy contacts in this case and other healthy people in the nearby Helsinki region, and all 6 samples tested were non-vaccine strains.
