During the fifth round of high-level consultation on humanities exchanges between China and the United States in 2014, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China held a theme group meeting for science and technology. In the field of science and technology, Deputy Director Ma Linying of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Assistant State Secretary Jia Bo co-chaired the meeting. Representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and CAST and other representatives from the U.S. State Department, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Embassy to China attended the conference.
