语言和思维密切相关,思维决定语言,语言反映思维。英汉民族由于不同的哲学观和宇宙观,形成了不同的思维方式。由于语言是思维的外化载体,这种不同的思维方式一定在各自的语言上有所映现。本文从句子结构层面探讨了英汉民族的思维差异在英汉两种语言上的映现,以便从深层上理解汉英语言差异的根源,从而更好地掌握运用英语。
Language and thinking are closely related, thinking determines the language, language reflects the thinking. Due to different philosophical and cosmological views, English and Chinese have formed different ways of thinking. Since language is the external carrier of thinking, this different way of thinking must be reflected in their own language. This paper explores the reflection of the differences in thinking between English and Chinese on the two languages of English and Chinese from the perspective of sentence structure in order to understand the root causes of the differences between Chinese and English languages from a deeper level and thus to master English better.
