为了借鉴和吸收内地省区的经验,自治区新闻出版局组团参加了第十四届全国书市,并考察了云南、四川等地推行发行体制改革的经验和组建发行集团的做法,大家都觉得获益匪浅。第十四届全国书市于5月12日至22日在广西桂林市举行,全国有1000多家单位参加,有16万种图书、期刊、音像、电子产品参展,总码洋为3700万元,销售码洋为1792万元,订货码洋为10亿元。从书市的情况看,新华书店充分发挥了作用,促进了出版业界的广泛交流,带动了当地图书销售和旅游的发展。书市利用广西新华书店和图书馆的优势,为前来采购的图书馆免费提供馆藏数据和图书发货服务,使各地图书馆在3天内采购1300万元的图书。广西桂林是一个仅有40万人口的城市,能够成功承办这样大规模的书市,其中许多好的经验和做法给我们留下了深刻的印象。我们期待在新疆能够承办一次全国书市。
