城市消防规划和消防站、消火栓、消防通讯、消防装备等公共消防设施,是我国城市基础设施建设的重要组成部分,是遏制重特大火灾发生的重要保障。 随着经济建设的快速发展,城市建设规模日益扩大,城市公共消防设施严重滞后的矛盾越发突出,尤其是近年来发生的特大火灾,集中暴露了这方面存在的问题。为了促进城市公共消防设施建设,公安部及国家有关部委曾于95、96两年先后2次组成联合检查组进行全国性的普查和抽查。97年此项工作

With the rapid development of economic construction, the scale of urban construction is expanding day by day, and the contradiction between the serious lagging behind of urban public fire-fighting facilities has become increasingly prominent. In particular, the major fires that occurred in recent years have exposed the problems in this respect. In order to promote the construction of urban public fire-fighting facilities, the Ministry of Public Security and the relevant state ministries and commissions once formed a joint inspection team twice in 1995 and 1996 to carry out a national census and spot check. 97 years of this work
