In early December 1989, a five-day national seminar on pediatric education was held in Changchun. The seminar was commissioned by the China National Committee of UNESCO and co-hosted by the Changchun Municipal Education Commission and the Northeast Normal University. The central theme of the conference is to discuss the basic theory of science education for young children and summarize the fresh experience of science education for young children in our country in recent years.
