After cooperating with the Crop Research Institute of Beijing Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences cooperated with the Crop Research Institute of Beijing Academy of Agricultural Sciences to study out the “Promotion and Control of Wheat Leaf Age Index”. In 1980, it was listed as one of the key promotion projects by the Ministry of Agriculture.
