最近我在预备变形虫实验过程中,曾遇到了这样的困难(也许是技术水平不够)即是无法很好地在双管解剖镜下用微吸管吸去轮虫、纤毛虫等对变形虫繁殖不利的原生动物,其结果就影响了变形虫的培养工作。后来我改用了下列方法,认为效果良好,手续简便,颇适用于一般中学及大学普通生物学准备变形虫实验工作时之参考,兹特介绍如下:(1)采集:据我们几年来的经验,春秋季节在武昌常可较不费力地自荷塘里采到变形虫,其方法是在荷塘边沿浅处,把腐烂荷叶连杂草带污泥采入玻缸中,再加上塘水少许带回,特别要指出的是上述采集物常具有腐臭、不像普通塘水之清澈(因污泥或腐败之植物所致)。(2)培养:首先,将采集物静置一两天,然后用滴管自缸边沿吸取少许
