Iran is one of the ancient civilizations in the East. Its main ethnic group is Persian (also known as Iranian) and part of the Aryan (“Iran” means “the land of the Aryans”). The Iranian people have created a brilliant and splendid national culture and made notable achievements in literature, especially poetry. There has been a long history of writing exchanges between China and Iran, and the history of Iranian literature has been introduced into our country for hundreds of years. According to a study conducted by Iranian scholar Zhang Hongnian, the earliest record of the introduction of Iranian literature into our country was the 14th century when the Ibn Battuta (1304 ~ 1377) Moroccan traveler traveled to Hangzhou in 1348 to listen to the Chinese singer Sing a Persian song. It was later studied on the basis of records made by Ibn Battuta to make sure that the lyrics were a lyrical poem by the Iranian poet Sadi. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, Sady’s famous book “Rose Garden” used to serve as an auxiliary teaching material for the education of Chinese Muslim sutras, which was used as an oral heartstone.
