功能的定义本来是很明确的:一般指物品的“功用”、“作用”、“效用”等。通俗的说法是“这件东西有何用途”。由于VE的应用范围超出了“物品”的范畴,甚至被推广至社会各行各业,功能的定义也更广义和抽象了。但是,不管功能定义如何抽象,其功能只能分为“基本功能”与“辅助功能”。不论产品如何改进,“基本功能”应当保持并提高。“辅助功能”可根据具体情况增减。
The definition of the function is already very clear: generally refers to the “function”, “effect”, “utility” and so on. The popular saying is “What is the use of this thing?” Because the scope of application of VE is beyond the scope of “items” and even promoted to all walks of life in society, the definition of functions is more general and abstract. However, no matter how abstract the function is defined, its function can only be divided into “basic function” and “auxiliary function”. No matter how the product is improved, the “basic function” should be maintained and improved. “Auxiliary functions” can be increased or decreased according to specific conditions.
