1980年12月21日,在重庆市召开中国包装技术协会第一次代表大会,庄严地宣告中国包协诞生了。我作为江苏代表参加了大会,并被选为中国包协第一届理事。…创业…中国包协的诞生,是我国包装史上新的里程碑。长期分散、落后的中国包装,从此开始了大展创业宏图。1979年,时任国家经委副主任的邱纯甫同志,代表我国政府去日本考察包装,之后提出组建中国包协,得到中央的批准。在这风风雨雨的20年里,邱会长站在第一线,带领我们开创包装大业,今天他正领导我国包装进入新世纪。

After that, he proposed to form the China Association for Contract Reparation, which was approved by the Central Government. In this ups and downs of 20 years, President Qiu stood in the forefront, leading us to create a packaging industry, today he is leading our packaging into the new century.
