石油工程专业大学生班主任工作的专业性强,对班主任的能力、经验、素养等有很高的要求,引导学生健康成长,学会做人,学会做事,学会学习,学会自我管理,学会与人相处,全面提高综合素质,培养学生的工程实践能力,使其成为适应我国社会主义现代化建设需要、德智体全面发展、具有系统工程思想、获得石油工程师基本训练的高等工程技术人才。班主任的工作责任重大,在不同学习阶段有着不同的工作重点,做好石油工程专业大学生班主任工作具有现实而深远的意义。
