荧光平板电视的出现还只有三年时间,但是由于它的脉冲亮度高,驱动电路比较简单,寿命长,稳定性好,因而发展较快.这种新型平板电视用矩阵式荧光显示屏(见图1)作显象器件,其基本原理和荧光数码管相似,是利用低能电子发光现象制成的平板型显示器.本文将首先简要地介绍低能电子发光,然后着重讨论炬阵式荧光显示屏以及荧光平板电视的基本原理和发展情况.
