上海市第二初级中学创建于1962年,是一所与具有百年历史的上海市实验性示范性高中——上海市第二中学资源共享、特色衔接的初级中学。近年来,学校全面实施素质教育,坚持“育人为本、德育为先、全面发展”的办学思想,坚持“依法治校、科研兴校、质量强校”的办学思路,坚持“师生协同发展、学校和谐发展、全面持续发展”的办学策略,努力探求教学适合学生的发展、张扬学生个性特长的发展、追求师生协调持续的发展,取得了令人瞩目的成绩。
